Daniel J. Szostkiewicz

Attorney Daniel J. Szostkiewicz (pronounced SOS-ko-vic) is a lifelong resident of Western Massachusetts. Born, raised and educated in the city of Holyoke, Attorney Szostkiewicz is a graduate of Holyoke Community College, Western New England College, and the Western New England College School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts as well as in Connecticut. Prior to his time at Szostkiewicz & Thorn, Attorney Szostkiewicz maintained a private practice in Holyoke for three years and in Springfield for four years. Before that, he served as an assistant attorney general under Massachusetts Attorney General Tom Reilly in Boston for one year, and served as Mayor of the city of Holyoke for the four prior years. Having handled hundreds of domestic cases throughout his tenure (including many post-judgment challenges and Appeals), Attorney Szostkiewicz specializes in representing clients who reside out-of-state and who are unable to attend court proceedings in Western Massachusetts in person.
